2. What this policy covers
This policy explains how we process personal data in connection with this website and with communications you send us, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking technologies and does not contain forms. We only receive personal data if you contact us by email or telephone.

Please do not send us special categories of personal data (e.g. health data) in your CV or correspondence unless strictly necessary.
We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you.
4. How long we keep your data
Enquiries: for as long as needed to respond, and thereafter for the applicable limitation periods.
Business relationships: for the duration of the relationship and thereafter for the periods required by law (for example, commercial, tax and anti-money laundering retention obligations).
Job applications: for the duration of the recruitment process.
Server logs: for the period set by our hosting provider, which is limited to what is necessary for security and operation.
When data is no longer needed, we delete it or keep it blocked only for as long as required to meet legal obligations or defend legal claims.
5. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with:
- Service providers acting on our behalf under a data processing agreement, including our website hosting provider and our email and IT provider.
- Companies in our group, including our office in Mexico City, where necessary for the purposes above.
- Professional advisors (legal, tax, audit) bound by confidentiality.
- Public authorities, courts and regulators, where required by law.
6. International transfers
Some of the recipients above may be located outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States and Mexico. Where a country does not benefit from an adequacy decision of the European Commission, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or, for US recipients, certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. 7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
To exercise your rights, email info@besantcapital.com, stating which right you wish to exercise. We may ask for information to verify your identity where we have reasonable doubts about it. Exercising your rights is free of charge.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es).

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure.
